Job summary
Warwickshire East PCN are looking to recruit a part time Digital & Transformation Manager. The role exists to support the development of the PCN and lead the delivery of the Primary Care Networks' agenda. It will form an integral part of the PCN leadership team working alongside the Clinical Director and the PCN board members and providing a link back to the South Warwickshire GP Federation SMT.
Job Type: Part time. 30 hours per week. Permanent.
Salary:£35,144 (Full time equivalent £43,931)
Main duties of the job
Warwickshire East PCN are looking to recruit a Digital and Transformation Lead to join their team. As Digital and Transformation lead you would be expected to support increased access to care for patients, by supporting the adoption and/or optimisation of new technology and other initiatives to improve the care offer and enabling PCN staff to work more effectively to support the sustainability of general practice services.
You will work collaboratively with other members of the PCN leadership team and the digital function provided by the local GP Federation to agree priorities, with a focus on achieving effective and efficient ways of working.

Improve adoption and/or optimisation of new technology to enhance patient access and experience and increase PCN productivity.
Build relationships and facilitate collaboration between practices and the wider system to support the delivery of care to patients (including shared appointments between practices to aid delivery of enhanced access).
Lead an improvement approach to change including building capability for quality improvement within the PCN and system wide approaches to problem solving
Review and improve the PCNs digital maturity.
Use data, and improve data quality to understand demand, capacity and activity, hit government set targets Digital & Transformation.
Drive improvements in patient experiences of access and staff experience at work.
Support population health management.
Support understanding of the type and intensity of support/training needs of the PCN and coordinate this support, including through OD programmes.
Facilitate clinically led innovation and the effective adoption of improvement initiatives, including integrated working at neighborhood and/or place level to improve access to services for patients.

- Educated to Masters level in a relevant area of academic practice or equivalent working experience at this level.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to role.
- Additional management qualification or specialist qualification or equivalent level of experience.
- Extensive experience of leading change projects.
- Extensive experience of managing projects and delivering them within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Previous experience of managing budgets for complex programmes of work, including budget setting and monitoring.
- Must understand the relationship between the Department of Health and individual provider and commissioning organisations.
- Able to draw qualitative and quantitative information from a range of sources and present it in a clear and concise way.
- Good working Knowledge of Emis.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to engage successfully with a wide range of people at all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to build relations with internal and external partners which are critical in securing the strategic objectives of the business.
- Demonstrated capability to act upon incomplete information, using experience to make inferences and decision making.
