You will work closely with the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team to provide leadership to pharmacy professionals and enable the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy and medicines optimisation service for our substance use and adult mental health social care service providers.
Main duties of the job
- Developing and delivering clinically safe and effective services, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional bodies' requirements with the support of Waythrough colleagues
- Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures by supporting working parties, delivering staff training and communicating and implementing at regional/service level.
- Analysis of data sets (national and organisational) and making subsequent recommendations in line with best practice guidelines and Waythrough policies and procedures
- Supporting the development and implementation of action plans following service audits for achieving and maintaining performance targets and KPIs and appropriate quality standards.
