Location: Working predominantly at our Erdington Hospice site but may be required to support at our Selly Park Hospice site & Hive Cafe (Rookery Park, Erdington) Hours: 25 per week (a typical week would be 3 days at Erdington Hospice.
to include a Saturday or Sunday and bank holidays when required)
Salary: £17,701 - £20,623 per annum (£26,522 - £30,935 full time equivalent)
DBS Requirement: Enhanced Check

We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Chef to join our team on apart-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by preparing and delivering high-quality, freshly made meals that support the wellbeing and comfort of our patients and their families.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
Support patients nutritional and hydration requirements with sensitivity and care.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times.
Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure meals contribute positively to patient care.
About You
You'll be an experienced and organised chef with:
AFood Hygiene Level 2 CertificateorCity & Guilds Level 2 in Professional Cookery(or equivalent).
A passion for cooking and a genuine desire to support others.
Flexibility to workweekend shifts,bank holidays, andcover additional shiftswhen needed.
