Job summary
Saint Catherine’s Hospice is looking for a Data Reporting Administrator to support our clinical teams by producing regular and ad-hoc reports pulled from our patient record systems, improve and maintain these systems and provide end user training to clinical and non-clinical staff.
Main duties of the job
Respond to requests to amend/ generate new reports for different departments using Microsoft Excel or other appropriate programmes
Co-ordinate data in our patient record database (SystmOne) and our Incident Reporting Database (Vantage), ensuring a high level of accuracy
Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
Work with the Clinical Admin and Systems Lead on projects and changes to how the patient record system improves efficiency within all departments
Provide ongoing training to all staff on how to use the system for their role
Cleanse and tidy up data within the system.
Set up all users at consistent levels so that information flows into the system in a standard way

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in using SystmOne patient record system at any level
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, or reporting (e.g., using Excel or similar tools)
- High attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy
- Ability to generate reports (daily, monthly, quarterly)
- Experience in handling and maintaining information systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including project-based work
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
