Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Clinical Administrator to support the delivery, administration and operational requirements of the Oakhaven Community Nursing Team and coordinate administrative provision across the clinical services

Main duties of the job

About the role:

  • Manage and support all administrators to provide a comprehensive and supportive and flexible administration service across all clinical functions within the organisation.
  • To lead on clinical administration and ensure processes and procedures are efficient, effective and accurate.
  • To support Directors to ensure that clinical meetings are organised, prepared and minuted to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Receive, exchange and manage securely a range of complex and sensitive information including patient information.
  • Attend regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Provide incoming telephone support to members of the patients, families and external stakeholders in a compassionate, sensitive and positive manner, cascading messages and information appropriately.
  • Support with CHCF applications, staffing rotas, outpatient appointments and referrals when required.
  • Be a SystmOne Champion to support clinical colleagues.

  • Able to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure at times
  • A working knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation
