Job summary

We are looking to recruit a highly skilled Administrator to provide comprehensive, professional and effective administrative support to the Adult Community Mental Health Team in Surrey Heath.

Hours:37.5 hours per week (Fulltime). Part time will be considered.

Main duties of the job

The post holder must display a considerable degree of initiative, possess mature judgement and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with staff, service users, colleagues and visitors. The post holder will be highly proficient in providing front line administrative support, booking and confirming patients appointments within the teams diary slots, manage referrals and phone calls, follow up on missed appointments.

The post holder will be required to work independently using initiative, and applying a high degree of confidentiality to all of their work, whilst ensuring clear communication with the service and team.

You will be expected to prioritise tasks as well as use your initiative and organise your own time. It is essential you have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Providing administrative support to our Primary Care Mental Health Service.
  • Liaising with GPs, Mental Health clinicians, voluntary services and patients
  • Booking and confirmation of patient appointments in team members available diary slots

  • Twelve months previous office experience
