To work as a member of theTheKirkwoods In-Patient Unit team,assistingnursing staff to provide a high standard of direct nursing care to patients and their families.
Main duties of the job
Are you looking for a caring, people-focused support role? Whilst were busy, we try to have time to spend with our in-patients and their loved ones, giving everyone an individual, people-focused and dignified experience during life and after death.
Youll provide a nursing support role, working within a skilled, multi-disciplinary team, effectively communicating with patients, visitors and colleagues to help to maintain patient wellbeing and comfort.
Youll have experience working in a caring environment, which could come from working in peoples homes, care homes or clinical settings, for example. Youll have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, and be able to work effectively in a varied team, to ensure care is carried out effectively and efficiently, whilst always maintaining a caring, compassionate approach.
