Job summary

Acorns Children's Hospice Trust are looking for Clinical Practice Educator to deliver training and education across the Care Directorate.

Main duties of the job

As Clinical Practice Educator, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of an education plan that supports Acorns strategy and workforce development
  • Work with clinical teams to ensure clinical competency and skills development to support delivery of evidence-based care
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate digital and face-to-face learning packages
  • Act as a central point of contact to universities to enable student placements
  • Maintain own clinical skills through identified learning opportunities
  • Act as a resuscitation officer for Acorns

About You

  • Registered Healthcare Professional
  • Experience of creating, delivering and evaluating clinical training activities using blended learning
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children
  • IT literate
