Job summary

The Estates Technician supports the safe, efficient and compliant operation of St Lukes Hospice and retail premises. The role provides planned and reactive maintenance across buildings, plant and equipment, ensuring facilities remain functional, safe and welcoming for patients, families, staff and volunteers.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across hospice and retail sites, covering general building maintenance, plumbing, joinery, basic electrical tasks and decorating within their competence. The role supports health and safety compliance, statutory checks, contractor supervision and accurate maintenance record keeping.
