Job summary

St Lukes Hospice is looking for a compassionate and skilled Complementary Therapist to join our Wellbeing Team. The post holder will provide high-quality complementary therapy treatments to patients and carers across hospice services, including inpatient, outpatient and community settings. The role focuses on delivering holistic, person-centred care that supports physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing for individuals living with advanced illness.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the Complementary Therapist include: Delivering safe, effective and individualised complementary therapy treatments for patients and carers Working across all areas of the hospice service, including the inpatient unit, community services and Ecclesall Road South site Managing a small caseload independently while contributing to the wider therapy team Assessing referrals, developing appropriate treatment plans and evaluating outcomes Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and recording information on hospice systems Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care Supporting education, training, service development and promotional activities Participating in audit and continuous service improvement
