Job summary

We are looking to recruit a Retail Supervisor to assist the Shop Management team with the day to day operations of our Crookes store. Its an exciting time to be joining the St Lukes retail team, as we expand the portfolio of our shops, and enhance the St Lukes supporter and colleague experience. Whilst contributing towards maximising shop sales and profits, including gift aid targets. You must be enthusiastic, motivated and be a team player with a can do attitude. Experience in a retail environment with some managerial responsibilities and an ability to form good relationships with colleagues and volunteers is essential for the role. This role will support the retail department in its endeavors to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities will include processing stock donations, providing excellent customer service, and helping to process gift aid to maximise sales. In addition to this, you would be a key holder, and when necessary be responsible for opening and closing the store. A good knowledge of health & safety and an ability to identify potential risks is desirable to maintain safe ways of working. Flexibility is essential for this post as there will be weekend and possibly evening work required on occasions.
