Job summary

Background and Service CAVDAS brings together established, experienced, well-respected providers of drug and alcohol support services, so its easier for people to find and get the help they need. Each organisation brings its own set of specialisms to the Alliance, and we also have a very strong peer support team. This means every individual can have the right help to get where they want to be at every step, and it means we can easily further develop services as required. The Alliance is made up of Kaleidoscope, Recovery Cymru, Barod and, uniquely, the commissioning body Cardiff and Vale Substance Misuse Area Planning Board and has strategic partnerships with Pobl and G4S. Individual supervision will be provided six weekly in line with CAVDAS partner organisation policy. The Data Officer will be responsible for monitoring, collating and analysing project performance data, ensuring it is accurate and adequately meets the reporting requirements of the Alliance Management Team, Alliance Leadership Team and Funding Stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

Key Duties: Support CAVDAS staff, volunteers and management team with the monitoring and recording procedures using online database systems including PARIS, PalBase, SPG, NEO and Digital Health Care Solutions Wales. Provide additional on-site training and technical support to CAVDAS staff, volunteers and management team. Data Analyst Officer June 2024 v2 Page 2 of 6 Liaise with Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board support team to monitor Key Performance Indicators and data trends. Monitor data processes and work with the overall management team to maintain data integrity and reconcile data discrepancies. Review the quality of the data and perform quality checks to ensure appropriate data collection meets the needs of service and reflects the work delivered. Develop improvements in tools and/or processes to support information governance. Analyse data sets and present findings to the management team, leadership team and external stakeholders. Attend team meetings on request
