About us
Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.
Martin House is currently undergoing an extensive £21.9 million pound build and renovation project, which will transform the current building. Our vision is to create a purpose-built space with new and improved facilities. It will ensure that whether a family is visiting for respite or end-of-life care, we can keep providing tailored, specialist care, future proofing the hospice and helping families across Yorkshire for many more years to come.
As we open our new childrens wing and with the imminent opening of our new teenager and young adult facility, we are looking to add to expand our staff team. This is an amazing opportunity for enthusiastic and caring individuals to come and join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team in an unrivalled setting.
