We're looking for a Senior Team Nurse to join our Hospice Inpatient Unit at Thirsk. A peaceful and supportive environment dedicated to delivering personalised end-of-life care. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the first specialist palliative care unit in Hambleton and Richmondshire, helping us support more people at the end of life.

What Were Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, ideally in palliative, oncology, or acute care.

Main duties of the job

Your Role as a Senior Hospice Nurse

As a Senior Team Nurse, youll lead by example, providing clinical leadership, coordinating shifts, and supporting the day-to-day running of the ward. Youll manage and mentor nursing and care staff, uphold high standards of care, and work collaboratively with patients, families, and the wider hospice team to deliver truly holistic support.
