Job summary

37.5 hours per week full time but we will consider part time minimum 22.5 hours per week. Core hours will be between 9am and 7pm

St Oswalds Hospice are seekingan Individual Giving Team Manager. You will be the driving force behind our individual giving activity, you will help us to engage individuals across the North East, bringing them closer to our work, encouraging them to join us, stay longer, and give more. Were looking for a highly motivated person who will excite new and existing audiences.

You will lead a team of St Oswalds Hospice Lottery Fundraisers.Your teams role is primarily to recruit new players to the Hospice Lottery.The team is based on the telephone.You will also be expected to cover some event based lottery recruitment and recruitment and engagement for other campaigns which might include but would not be limited to Legacy, events and appeals.

Main duties of the job

You will have;

  • 4 or more GCSEs C or above or equivalent may include NVQ Level 2 or higher or BTEC equivalent.
  • Experience of regular giving or lottery fundraising or telephone sales and minimum 2 years supervisor with direct sales experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of a range of relationship building and canvassing / sales techniques.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages, soft phones and CRM systems.
