Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic individual to contribute to high quality, patient centred care across our service.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of registered nurse and other health professionals, providing safe, effective and responsive care to our patient population.
Main duties of the job
As
a Nursing Associate, you will: Deliver high quality, compassionate care in line
with individual patient needs.Support
registered nurses with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
of care. Undertake clinical tasks such as observations, ECGs, venepuncture,
wound care, injections, and specimen collection (training can be provided).Contribute
to health promotion, patient education, and long-term condition management.
Accurately document all care provided in line with organisational and NMC
requirements.Work
collaboratively within the team to ensure smooth patient pathways and excellent
service delivery.
Act
as a point of contact for patients, carers and external healthcare
professionals. Maintain professional standards, uphold confidentiality, and
demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.

- Completion of a Foundation Degree (Nursing Associate)
- Experience delivering care within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience in primary care or community settings
- Additional clinical skills (e.g., chronic disease support, cervical screening if qualified)
- Understanding of safeguarding, infection control and NHS policies
