Job summary
The postholder will have the opportunity to lead on key
disease areas (monitoring trends in the Quality and Outcomes Framework,
treatment, staff training and prescribing) and assist in developing appropriate
healthcare services for a diverse patient list, including practice-based
commissioning, patient participation and health promotion.
Supported by the clinical and management teams, the
postholder will work as one of the GPs within Thornton Road & Valley Park
Surgery, while also contributing to the wider multidisciplinary team across the
Bourne Health Partnership.

Main duties of the job
In accordance with the practice timetable, you will
undertake clinical sessions consisting of face-to-face consultations, telephone
consultations, clinical triage, queries, home visits, repeat prescription
signing, test result actioning, and medical reports. Consultations are
typically 10 minutes.

- Support extended hours access when required
