An exciting opportunity has arisen for 6-8 session Salaried GP, with a view to partnership, to join our well established, hardworking, and dedicated team.

Perfectly located in one of Europes most vibrant waterfront cities, Southway Surgery is situated in Plymouth, Britains ocean city. Located by a stunning waterfront and harbour, Plymouth boasts dazzling views and a rich history, alongside a wealth of independent shops, galleries, and restaurants. This combination gives Plymouth a metropolitan feel.

Devon is a stunning county of great contrasts, with two beautiful coastlines, two national parks and five official Areas of Outstanding Beauty right on our doorstep. It also has excellent transport links and schools. There is a huge amount to offer families and those with a love of the great outdoors.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic GP who has the commitment and passion to drive efficiencies and quality of care for our patients. As a teaching practice, we are affiliated with Plymouth University and work in alliance with other surgeries in the area.

The weekly expectations would be proportional involvement in the on-call rota at the practice alongside face-to-face surgeries; we are flexible regarding sessions / days and offer a competitive remuneration package in line with the BMA model contract. Indemnity is provided by the practice via a group scheme with the MDDUS.
