Main duties of the job

As a Salaried GP at Arnos Grove Medical Centre, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a range of acute, chronic, and preventative clinical presentations during face-to-face and remote consultations.

  • Undertaking clinical administration, including reviewing results, prescriptions, and referrals with protected time.

  • Participating in duty doctor rota and shared on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis.

  • Supporting QOF, KPIs , and local service initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

  • Collaborating with our wider clinical team, including Nurses, pharmacists, and care navigators.

  • Contributing to practice meetings, audits, and quality improvement projects.

Sessions are structured with 10-minute appointments.

  • Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population including management of acute illnesses, chronic disease, and preventive care.

  • Conduct consultations via face-to-face and remote (telephone/video) appointments, adhering to a 10-minute appointment schedule.

  • Provide appropriate clinical documentation and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.

  • Participate in protected clinical administration time each session for reviewing results, prescriptions, and referrals.

  • Contribute to the achievement of quality targets including QOF, KPIs, and enhanced service frameworks.
