GP Partner Opportunity On the North
Cornish Coast
6-8 Sessions per week

We are looking to appoint a motivated committed doctor to join our team as a GP Partner for 6 - 8 Sessions a week. With a view to join the team from September 2025 however this is negotiable for the right person and the start date can be brought forward.
Main duties of the job
We currently have approx 6,500 patients on our books and pride ourselves with delivering high quality patient focused care.
Responsible for assessing patients, working with multi-disciplinary team and undertaking all clinical duties associated with work as a General Practitioner in line with GMC and RCGP standards.
Duties include supporting the team to achieve the surgery's QOF and
Enhanced Service targets. As well as the usual duties of a GP we offer additional services such as joint injections, minor surgery and coil fitting.
We are supportive of the successful candidate developing interest in clinical or educational areas.

We are rated by the CQC as Outstanding. The Surgery is made up of a small supportive team on the North Cornwall Coast in Bude the sunniest town in Cornwall! Bude is renowned for outdoor activities such as surfing, swimming, cycling and walking. We have 2 Blue Flag beaches on our doorstep.
We work as part of the local PCN with 4 other neighboring surgeries in the area offering us a wide of additional team members such as home visiting teams, health coaches, mental health support and a team of Pharmacists.

surgery, family planning would also be welcome but not essential. We are
seeking an individual with excellent organisational skills, communication and
team working skills. A commitment to delivering a high quality, welcoming
service is essential.

- You will:
- Be able to show evidence of a breadth and depth of clinical knowledge and skills, be able to deal with people in a professional manner even when under pressure, and demonstrate strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Have passed membership exam of the Royal College of General Practitioners, are accredited as a GP by the GMC, and are registered on the NHS National Performers list.
- Have recent experience working as a GP in the UK, either as Partner, salaried doctor, and show an enthusiasm for general practice with a commitment to life-long learning and have a positive attitude to continuous quality improvement.
Desirable
- Interests in continuity of care, medical education, minor surgery, joint injections, family planning would also be welcome but not essential.
- Experience of using SystmOne.
- Working as part of a PCN.
