We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team!

Main duties of the job

Job Responsibilities

  • Dealing with patients requests via the telephone, triage and face to face
  • Booking appointments with clinicians
  • Co-ordinate emergency doctors requests
  • Workflow and all relevant administration tasks within reception
  • Faxing, handing mail, emailing and sending letters to patients
  • Completing prescription requests

Flexibility of working hours is essential for this role as you may be asked to cover at short notice. The role is working Monday to Friday.

About us

We are a large and happy team that consists of 1 partner, 2 salaried GPs, 1 Nurse, 1 physiotherapist, clinical pharmacists, physicians associate, Practice manager,Office Manager and reception staff.

The post-holder will be a part of the reception team. They will be part of a reception front of house team responsible for the effective running and workload in the reception and report to the Deputy Manager/ Practice Manager.

  • Excellent and effective communication skills
