As a Care Navigator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring their journey through the healthcare system is smooth and efficient. You will play a vital role in assisting patients with appointment bookings, answering queries, and providing general support to our medical team. This role is ideal for a proactive, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.
- Manage appointment requests via telephone, in person, and online.
- Support patient registration and update medical records.
- Handle prescription requests in line with practice procedures.
- Process and dispatch medical documents, including referrals and test results.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all interactions align with GDPR and practice policies.
- Assist clinicians and administrative staff in ensuring smooth practice operations.
