Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible Care Navigator/Administrator for 15-20 hours per week. The successful applicant would ideally have previous GP Receptionist/Care Navigator experience but previous experience dealing with the general public in a customer service role would also be advantageous. General practice is a challenging environment and the post holder requires a good telephone manner, and a calm and caring approach, with the ability to work under pressure.
Main duties of the job
The Care Navigator role plays a pivotal role in the experience of patients at our practice, which includes helping patients face to face, on the telephone and via text and email to access the right services and deal with their enquiries.
The post holder must have very good IT skills for this role and the ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and autonomously. Use of Microsoft Office products is required to enable support administratively with scanning, work flow documents, emails and office duties.
The job would commence immediately (or after a notice period) with full training given for all aspects of the role.
Some flexibility is required, as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
