- Required Professional Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
- Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification (V300)
- Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (Masters level or equivalent experience)
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and revalidation
- Indemnity cover appropriate for extended clinical role
- Previous experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting
- Experience using clinical systems such as EMIS or SystmOne
- Ability to manage minor illness clinics independently
- Experience in chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
Desirable
- Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of local referral pathways and community services
- Ability to work efficiently in a high demand environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience in telephone and digital consultations
- Willingness to support service development and quality improvement
