The Selhurst Medical Practice is
a small family friendly GP practice located in the heart of Selhurst, Croydon,
with just over 5000 patients. We aim to deliver a high standard patient
experience through traditional GP values, putting our patients' needs at the
heart of everything we do and getting to know our patients well whilst working
in a friendly team environment.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated
individual to be the welcoming face of our practice. As the first point of
contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and
efficient experience for everyone who visits or calls our surgery. You will manage
appointments, patients records and assist with various administrative duties to
support our clinical team in delivering excellent patient care.

You will work 25 hours per week:
Monday 14:00 - 19:00
Tuesday 14:00 - 19:00
Wednesday 14:00 -19:00
Thursday 14:00 - 19:00
Friday 14:00 - 19:00
NOTE: Due to the needs of the business, we require flexibility to cover holidays and absences, therefore days and hours of work may change.

undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the
provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include
but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration,
booking appointments, processing of information (electronic and hard copy) and
assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for
patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the
clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external
agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
