Were looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Team Lead Care
Navigator to guide and support our reception and care navigation team while
helping our practice run smoothly and efficiently.
This is more than just a leadership role its an
opportunity to shape patient experience, empower colleagues, and play a key
part in the smooth running of a busy and friendly practice.
Main duties of the job
Leading & Supporting the Team
- Providing day-to-day leadership and being the go-to person for support and guidance
- Coordinating annual leave, sickness and absence, and supporting staff appraisals
- Helping to manage conduct matters in partnership with the Line Manager
- Facilitating internal and external training opportunities
- Supporting team development and creating a positive, motivated environment
Keeping Everything Running Smoothly
- Assigning AskMyGP requests and running batch reports
- Supporting new patient registrations and PDS updates
- Providing cover for pathology and Out of Hours report filing
- Assisting with Flu Clinics and insurance administration
- Acting as a Key Holder and supporting Fire Safety compliance
Supporting Patient Care
- Assisting with care navigation and general reception duties
- Supporting our GP's, Nurses, HCAs and wider clinical team
- Helping the Practice Manager with complaints handling
- Stepping in to support the scanning team when needed
Work Pattern:
Monday: 08:30-18:30
Tuesday: 13.00 18.00
Thursday: 08.00 18.30
Friday: 13.00 18.00
