Job summary

MDC PCN aims to work strategically with all its practices, to help secure the best services for patients whilst working together, to support the member practices in the challenges of a changing NHS. The network aims to improve the morale of general practice in Bromley, by sharing expertise, services and supporting its workforce. The network will make a positive impact on medical services in Bromley, by working closely with the ICB, local NHS trusts, local providers and patient groups, to improve the delivery of healthcare to the local population.

Main duties of the job

PCN Admin Support

  • Hours: 12 per week
  • Contract: Fixed term for 6 months, view to go permanent
  • Working Arrangement:Practice-based (on-sight office based is essential for this role)

Were looking for a highly organised and proactive Admin Support to join our team, bringing strong administrative experience from a healthcare or primary care setting. As our PCN continues to grow, this is a newly created role designed to provide support to the PCN Supervisor.

The successful candidate ideally would be confident in using a range of clinical and operational systems, including EMIS for managing appointment clinics and booking adjustments, Accurx for patient communications such as reminder texts, and TeamNet for compliance checks and maintaining operational records.

This appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract basis starting at 6 months, with the view of extension to a permanent role subject to performance and service requirements.

We would like this role to start as soon as reasonably possible. This role is for 12 hours per week across 3 days. Days and hours to be discussed with the PCN Supervisor.

This PCN consists of The Chislehurst Partnership and The Links Medical Practice (Mottingham and Downham) covering over 37,000 patients.
