Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an
accomplished, positive and highly motivated individual to join our journey by
managing and leading our practice.
This has potential to be a genuinely
transformational leadership role. The successful candidate will take
responsibility for organisational leadership, quality improvement and delivery
of key targets across clinical and administrative areas within the practice
whilst also overseeing finance management and HR. There is scope to personalise the role and the supporting
management structure.
Salary is dependent on experience; this is a full-time role
however we are open to flexible working patterns. Additionally, you will enjoy
6 weeks annual leave per year, statutory bank holidays and access to NHS
pension.

Main duties of the job
The
role encompasses all aspects of managing the organisation including assisting
with strategic planning, managing income and expenditure, all aspects of human
resource management, health and safety management, and governance as well as
providing a high-quality service to our patient population while balancing the
wellbeing and retention of our staff. The

role document. This should be read in
consideration of the development of a support role to the business manager. We do not expect one individual to deliver
effectively at business management and operational level.

of its community in South Croydon, Violet Lane Medical Practice has been a
mainstay with a stable patient list size of 11,000. With the addition of two
motivated GP partners earlier this year alongside our experienced partner of 25
years, this forward-thinking practice is looking to develop and innovate to
ensure high quality patient care is maintained and health inequalities are tackled.
Having recently registered as a training practice we now consist of 3 partners
and 4 salaried GPs in addition to 2 nurses, GP trainees, medical students and
ARRS staff. Staff are hard-working whilst also maintaining a positive and
supportive environment to work within our modern premises. Our recent staff
survey show that our staff would recommend working here.
