Job summary
The Bloomsbury Surgery is a 8,500 patient, 3 partner practice, employing 12 staff in the heart of Central Camden WC1.
The communities we serve are a vibrant cross-section of
Central London life, comprising numerous nationalities and cultures and spanning the spectrums of age and affluence.
Due to growth in the list size, we are looking to recruit an experienced GP for up to 6 Clinical Sessions on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We are a friendly practice with a multiprofessional team. A typical GP session is a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments at 15 minute duration. The surgery operates a 100% triage system for appointments and the post-holder will be involved in this triaging process.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
About us
The Surgery is part of Central Camden PCN and Camden Health Evolution (CHE) GP
Federation and works very closely with both organisations with two partners on the
executive team of the federation.
We host a number of the services that are run at scale for the PCN including a respiratory diagnostic hub, rectal pathologies clinic, extended access and COVID vaccination hub.
