Job summary
Mid Dorset Primary Care Network is seeking a dedicated and
driven Service Coordinator for a maximum of 20 hours per week. Successful candidates will be
responsible for managing the administrative aspects of supporting our long term conditions clinical team for respiratory, cancer, mental health. There will also be a level of support for the central management team.
This is a part time position that would suit the hours between 10a.m to 2p.m Monday to Friday, although we would be flexible for the right candidate.
This is currently a fixed term for one year contract.
The successful candidate would primarily work within our Poundbury site but may need to work also from our head office in Puddletown, and other Mid Dorset locations, therefore own transport is essential.
You will need to support the team and patients so excellent communications skills are a priority. So if you have excellent team working, organisational
skills and the ability to interact with a range of people then we would like to
hear from you.
This is a varied role and for the right candidate who can

Main duties of the job
Manage and coordinate support for relevant healthcare
projects.
Assist specialist clinical leads in the delivery of
day to day and project tasks.
Assisting with audit and data gathering.
Support the development of early detection of patients with
a long-term condition.
To assist and support GP Practices within Mid Dorset as
guided by Project leads and PCN Managers.
To support the management teams in coordinating meetings, writing reports/minutes.

Mid Dorset Primary Healthcare Ltd is the employing
organisation for Mid Dorset Primary Care Network. The network covers a population of
approximately 50,000 patients across our practice partners: The Atrium Health
Centre, Cerne Abbas Surgery, Fordington Surgery, Milton Abbas Surgery,
Poundbury Surgery, Puddletown Surgery, The Prince of Wales Surgery.
Although practices still operate independently, working
together collaboratively provides wider opportunities and services for
patients.

Be the nominated contact for respiratory, Mental Health, Cancer
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality
regulations.
Generate reports and summaries when requested or to support
initiatives.
Provide educational material to patients when required by
email, post, text message.
Assist in the organisation of events and meetings, minute
taking and report writing.

Respond to queries and demands of the role quickly and
