Highgate Group Practice is a Large, Innovative, Team orientated, friendly, sociable and well-organised urban London teaching practice with a traditional ethos of patient continuity and excellent patient-centered care.

We are looking for a GP with similar aims and values to join our team.

Main duties of the job

Main duties include surgeries and clinics with appointments lasting 12 minutes and longer. A mix of on the day and routine appointments in every surgery. Practice admin is triaged by our HCP's to reduce the load on our GP's. We are a training practice and are committed to creating a fair and inclusive workplace for all.

About us

We are a PMS practice with 17 000 patients.

We have 7 Clinical Partners and Managing Partner who are supported by 4 Salaried Doctors, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants, Counsellor, 2 part -time Pharmacists, 1 Pharmacy technician and a Social Prescriber.

We are a training and teaching practice (STs, F2s and medical students) and we encourage our salaried GP's to participate and assist with this training.

Our clinical system is EMIS web, and we work in teams in order to achieve our targets

We have weekly clinical and practice meetings and a daily morning Coffee break to catch up clinically and socially.

We run additional services (family therapy, minor surgery, anticoagulation, LARC fitting) which again we encourage our salaried GP's to participate in.

We are involved in the PCN, ICB, LMC, Federation and a collaborative provider of Urgent Care at the local Trust
