Job summary
An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the practice team and develop the knowledge and skills required as a General Practice Nurse (GPN).
Main duties of the job
General Practice Nurses (GPNs) plan and provide care, treatment and health education to patients of all ages.
In this role you will be administering childhood Immunisations, and deliver other immunisation programmes, well woman clinics etc
They are key members of a multi-professional team that includes doctors, pharmacists, therapists and a range of other professionals delivering person-centred care.

The practice nurse will undertake a range of nursing assessments, including chronic disease management and provide appropriate treatments. You will be supported by your nursing team, practice manager and Lead GP. You will be based at Padarn surgery.

- * NMC Mentor and assessor.
