Practice Nurse

Job summary

Marlborough Surgery are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our clinical team to complement our existing team of ANPs, practice nurses and other clinical staff. The applicant will preferably have gained experience within a primary care setting or have other substantial relevant nursing experience. Qualified diabetes nurse or willing to train towards obtaining diabetes qualification would be desirable. Please see job description for further. Full and Part time applications will be considered.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience and you will have access to the NHS pension scheme.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the delivery of Practice Nursing services and care to the Practice population of both Marlborough Surgery and North Easington Primary Care Network. This includes (but is not limited to) immunisations, screening, including cervical screening, opportunistic consultations, chronic disease reviews, wound management, health promotion and contraceptive advice/review. Training can be provided.

The role will work collaboratively with others within the practice team to meet the needs of the patient and may require liaison with other members of the wider community and hospital teams to support the holistic care of the patient. Please see attached job description for full details.
