About us

Sevenfields Primary Care Network (PCN) is one of the largest PCNs (of six) in Lewisham and we are seeking to be a key driving force for improving community health and wellbeing in our neighbourhood. Our PCN is made up of seven GP Practices serving a population of around 70,000 one of which is Oakview Family Practice where our Clinical Director: Dr Helen Tattersfield is based. We are seeking a General Practice Assistant to support Dr Tattersfield with the managing of our PCN and her workload.

Our local population is somewhat older than other parts of Lewisham and contains several large care homes. It includes areas of extreme socioeconomic deprivation and the PCN is keen to find innovative ways of addressing the health challenges that accompany this. Sevenfields PCN was supported by One Health Lewisham our local GP Federation but is now seeking to become more autonomous. We have created a company which we are thinking about converting to be a Community Interest Company which would act as our legal vehicle. All of the GP practices in Sevenfields are shareholders (members) of our PCN company which has a Board that provides clear leadership through strong GP practice representation.
