Job summary
Due to a
rapidly expanding list size, we are looking to welcome an enthusiastic,
reliable and motivated salaried GP to work 4-8 sessions per week. We would love to hear from a GP at any stage
of their career, including recently or newly qualified GPs.
Main duties of the job
As a GP at Hornchurch Healthcare, your day will include
capped sessions and a fair share of the administrative duties with
opportunities to catch up with the rest of the team every lunchtime. You will work approximately one duty session
per week; these are also protected. If
you have (or want to develop) a specialist interest, we actively encourage you
to apply to see how we can help you develop a service for our patients. We have a very low home visiting rate. If you are interested in teaching or mentoring
others, we have plenty of opportunities for you. There is potential for future partnership.
About us
We are a dynamic, friendly, 10000 patient practice in the heart of
Hornchurch. We are a well-established
teaching and training practice with good reviews and a long-serving,
experienced team. We are busy, but have
put in place lots of processes to take the pressure off GPs, while continuing
to provide excellent patient centered care.
We have been awarded a rating of Good from CQC.
Our key
team values are innovation, flexibility and team-working. We are focused on staff wellbeing and provide
bespoke flexible working patterns and clinician mentorship if you would like
it. The salary will be competitive and
dependent upon your experience. We
believe our GPs work hard and deserve a generous leave allowance and a week of study leave pa. We provide
a BMA contract, indemnity cover and annual NB medical PLUS subscription.
We have regular
practice meetings and lunches. We
believe in continuous improvement and have a strong QI culture. Developing or maintaining a portfolio career
is encouraged and supported. There are teaching and leadership opportunities
both within the practice and across our dynamic PCN.
