Job summary
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic GPs to join our
team at Mayfair Medical Centre. We are a growing practice and are looking for a GP to support the on-call GP on four mornings a week (Mon-Thurs). The role will initial be on a locum basis with a view to either a long-term locum position or potentially salaried. Our practice offers a supportive team environment and a
patient-focused approach, serving a diverse community.
Main duties of the job
The practice operates a telephone first clinic, with patients called in usually on the same day for face to face appointments if needed. This role will be in support of the on-call GP. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients, with a typical morning session comprising 15 consultations over a 3-hour clinic starting at 9am. A typical arrangement would be 10 telephone calls and 5 face to face consultations.
About us
We are a growing general practice with a population of 4300 patients. Our hardworking team provide a personal service to our patients, with same day appointments and great care continuity - aiming to provide the best of traditional general practice. The team consists 2 receptionists, practice manager and GP assistant, with a physiotherapist and nurse providing clinics on one day of the week. We have currently have one full time and two part time GPs.
