Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our forward-thinking training and teaching GP Practice. Initially the post will be salaried, but we would welcome anyone who might wish to be a partner after an agreed trial period, joining our Pathway to Partnership Scheme.
We are a training practice with a GP Registrar trainer, an F2 trainer and we also host medical students. We would welcome anyone with an interest in education.
Main duties of the job
15-minute appointments 12 per standard session
Protected admin time
30 mins of daily coffee and clinical catch up
Urgent Care Team consisting of 3 Paramedics
Clinical Pharmacy team to manage medication changes, queries and reviews
Trained Care Navigators to direct patients to the most appropriate care
6 weeks holiday (plus pro rata bank holiday and 2 NHS days)
Bi-weekly clinical meetings
Laptop provided

About us
We have a growing patient population of 16,500. Our main site is a brand-new, purpose-built surgery on the Exeter side of Crediton. We also provide care from our dispensing branch in the village of Thorverton. The Crediton site is within walking distance of the local railway station.
We are recognised as being a forward thinking and innovative practice that provides a high standard of patient care. Our multi-disciplinary practice-based team includes 3 Urgent Care Paramedics, a Clinical Pharmacist led prescribing team, and a remote GP team who support with administrative work. We are also an active member of the Mid Devon Healthcare PCN with additional support from PCN ARRS staff including, a strong social prescribing team and an in-house Mental Health Practitioner.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we look to shape and develop services for patients from our new building and site.We are rated good by CQC and scored 96% on last years QOF report.
