1. Saturdays 9am to 17:00
2. Wednesdays 18:30 to 21:30
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCA/Nurse to work alongside our phlebotomy team to provide exceptional support to our patients. This role involves taking bloods from patients.
Applicants should be comfortable using IT devices and have a good command of English to facilitate effective communication with patients and team members.

- Perform blood tests (phlebotomy)independently,
safely and competently, following clinical guidelines and safeguarding
procedures
- Prepare patients for blood tests, providing reassurance and
age-appropriate communication
- Accurately label, handle, and transport blood samples in
line with laboratory protocols
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions (e.g. fainting,
distress) and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards
- Record clinical information accurately in electronic patient
records
- Provide administrative support within the clinic
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
at all times
- Support smooth day-to-day running of the service
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Comply with CQC standards, local policies, and health &
safety regulations
