Job summary
We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated GP Practice Administrator (experience is advantageous) to join our practice situated in South Woodford, in the London Borough of Redbridge.
The Administrator plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of Glebelands Practice. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of reception and administrative duties while providing general support to our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
As the central point of contact for patients, the Administrator will distribute information, messages, and enquiries for the clinical team, liaise with multidisciplinary team members, and collaborate with external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Our aim is to maintain a high standard of patient care, which should be evident in every action undertaken by our team members.
Main duties of the job
The role of our Administrator requires an individual who has a keen focus on detail and organisation.
Proficiency in EMIS, Microsoft Outlook ERS referrals and Patient Triage, as well as strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft proficiency and social media scheduling, an excellent telephone manner and a background in providing high level customer service are all advantages for this role.

Glebelands Practice is a forward-thinking training practice of over 6000 patients. Our warm and friendly surgery is led by two GP partners, and doctors and has a diverse multi-disciplinary team consisting of nurses, pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists and health care assistants. The practice is also supported and managed by a strong and experienced team headed up by the practice manager and supported by the practice leads, admin and reception staff.
