receptionist/care navigator

Job summary

We are a GP training practice based in Aberdare town centre with a branch surgery at Aberaman, we are looking to recruit a receptionist/care navigator

the foundry town clinic is a friendly well respected practice and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fulfil a role with our busy reception team

this role will suit someone who has previous experience of working in primary care and understanding the expectation of a care navigator.

Main duties of the job

this is an exciting opportunity and the role will involve daily face to face and telephone contact with the patients arranging appointments and patient related tasks.

the role will involve supporting patients and navigating them to the most appropriate care for their needs.

About us

we are a well established GP training practice based at Aberdare Town centre with an additional site in Aberaman 1.2 miles from the main site.

we have approximately 10,000 registered patients at the practice we have three female GP partners , two salaried GP's a very experienced ANP and a clinical pharmacist we have a range of allied professionals attached to the practice i.e physiotherapists councilors mental health practitioners young person therapist and a holistic therapist.
