Job summary

This vacancy requires initiative, empathy and most of all a team player. This practice always relies on all of the team to work closer together.

Main duties of the job

The duties involved are:- ECG's, Blood taking, looking anf managing long terms conditions, dressing changes, blood pressure checks, stock control, giving injections and assisting with minor surgery.

We are a thriving practice with 5 GP's 4M1F and a full compliment of clinical staff that work together very well. Our work ethic has and will continue to be caring and having empathy with patients. The team work hard together as well as on an individual basis. However we are one team.

Qualifications

Essential

  • HCA qualified to HCA level 3

Desirable

  • NVQ level 3
  • Phlebotomy trained
  • Experience in General Practice

Experience

  • Experience in working alone and with nursing team
  • Experience in dealing with vunerable patients

Desirable

  • preferably experience in General Practice and Primary Care
