Key Responsibilities

Undertaking clinical tasks like venepuncture (taking blood samples) and administering some injections and medications.

Caring for individuals with varying needs, including those with mental health conditions or learning disabilities.

Teamwork and Communication

Sharing information about patients' conditions, progress, and responses with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Working as part of nursing teams, communicating effectively with colleagues and providing patient-centred care.

Acting as a patient advocate and providing support to individuals, their families, and carers.

Patient Safety and Wellbeing

Ensuring the safety, privacy, and dignity of individuals receiving care.

Recognising safeguarding issues for vulnerable children and adults.
