Job summary

Unique opportunity with a well-established GP Training practice located in the residential area of South Chiswick near the river, currently seeking a salaried GP for 4 sessions a week potentially moving to 6 sessions with a view to partnership.

We have a very good CQC rating and achieve very high QOF points providing a full complement GMS service.

We use Systm One, Accurx and Patchs for online consultation.

Patient list is 4k with an exceptionally low number of home visits.

There is car parking on site, and we can arrange exemptions from LTN's in the area.

Main duties of the job

Main duties are to supply all GMS services through a combination of online, telephone and face to face consultations.

Administrative responsibilities include issuing electronic prescriptions, reviewing path results, actioning clinical letters and tasks.

We are a friendly 2-partner GP Training practice with a part time salaried GP along with nursing staffs, physician associate, practice pharmacists, other allied health professionals and work closely with other neighbouring practice within the PCN.

An efficient administrative team of 5 part time reception staff keeps everything running smoothly.

We offer a well-managed work load and a healthy work life balance with the support of our caring dedicated clinical and admin team.

We enjoy informal chats - both work and non - work related and prioritise family life. We are realistic in our expectations and aim to finish work at an acceptable hour.

Respond to patient health concerns and carry out investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.

Maintain confidentiality and fairness.

Liaise with medical professionals in the community and secondary care regarding patient care.

Helping to achieve QOF and enhanced services target.

Carry out a range of administrative work including signing repeat prescriptions, death certificates, fitness for work statements as well as actioning clinic letters, paths and reports.

Attend practice meetings, MDTs and prescribing meeting.

Keep up to date with clinical knowledge and skills.

  • - Registered GP with the General Medical Council, possess the right to work in the UK and included on the NHS performers list.
  • - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbally.
  • - Good organisational and time management skills.
  • - Motivated and wishes to be part of a forward thinking, supportive, enthusiastic team.

Desirable

  • Minor surgery, LARC, injectable therapy for Type 2 diabetes (eligible candidates can be given time to acquire desirable skills).
