Job summary

We are looking for a qualified Level 2 dispenser to join our Surgery Dispensary team.

This is to complete our dispensary team and ensure full cover is provided to ensure our patients receive a quality service.

Being based at Blisworth surgery but to cover Roade and Hanslope surgery if and when needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with all our dispensary teams.

There is an expectation to help reception cover, as and when required.

Main duties of the job

The duties of a dispenser are as follows:

Dispensing any prescriptions; acute or repeats

Following the training provided and meeting high standards

Liaising with pharmacists and GPs

Ensuring orders are followed up

Patient medication queries

Using the SystmOne computer system

Receiving and putting away of orders

Ensuring weekly and monthly audits / checks are completed
