Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician looking to make a meaningful difference in primary care? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and support the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines across our GP practice/Primary Care Network (PCN).
Working closely with our Clinical Pharmacists, GPs, and wider healthcare team, you'll play a vital role in optimising prescribing processes, supporting patient care, and improving health outcomes. Main duties of the job
Support the repeat prescribing process, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective supply of medicines.

Conduct medication reviews and reconciliations, particularly following hospital discharge.

Manage medication queries from patients, carers, and clinicians, escalating when appropriate.

Contribute to medicines optimisation projects, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Work closely with Clinical Pharmacists, GPs, and the wider team to support safe prescribing practices.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records on the clinical system.

Help implement changes in prescribing guidance and respond to medicines safety alerts.

Promote patient understanding and adherence to prescribed treatments.
