Job summary
We are a well-established, friendly, and forward-thinking GP
practice located in Bradford, providing high-quality care to a diverse
population of approximately 13,000 patients.
As our Practice Manager transitions to reduced hours, we are
looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and motivated Assistant Practice
Manager to assist with leadership, administration, and the efficient daily
operation of the practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with management
or supervisory experience particularly within healthcare or primary care who is
ready to develop further within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with our experienced Practice Manager,
GP Partners, and wider clinical and administrative teams to ensure the
efficient delivery of services across our three practices
The role will combine operational management, staff
supervision, and administrative support, contributing to the ongoing
development and success of the practice.
This position would particularly suit:

care, ready to progress into a management role.

practice, ensuring patient facing and back office functions operate efficiently
and effectively.
Staff Management - Support recruitment, induction, training,
and supervision of administrative and reception staff. Help promote a positive
and supportive working environment.
Financial & Resource Management - Assist with financial
administration, including payroll, invoicing, and budget monitoring. Ensure
resources are used efficiently.
Quality & Compliance: Support the Practice Manager in
maintaining CQC standards, NHS contractual compliance, and governance
processes. Help coordinate audits, policy updates, and staff training records.
Systems & IT - Oversee and maintain clinical systems
(System One) and administrative software to ensure smooth digital operations.
Patient Services - Contribute to improving the patient
