Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to work 30 hours to include Friday to join our busy GP Practice. The
Main duties of the job
Chronic disease management clinics e.g. asthma,
diabetes, CHD, COPD, CKD, hypertension, dementia, RA in line with QOF/Bolton
Quality Contract guidelines.
Immunisations both children and adult
including childhood immunisations, contraception injections, B12,
Zoladex/Prostap, Travel Vaccinations, flu/covid, pneumonia, shingles, whooping
cough etc
Screening tests including cervical cytology
Home visits
Additional duties may include NHS Health Checks,
spirometry, HVS, coil checks, Pill checks, weight management
About us
We are an 8,000 patient Practice with 3 GP Partners and 1
ANP Partners. We also have 1 salaried GP, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurse, 1 Nurse
Associate and 1 HCA. Alongside this we have a team of experienced admin,
secretaries and receptionists to support patients and clinical staff.
We also
have a range of ARRS staff including Advanced Clinical Practitioners,
Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner, MSK Practitioner, Dietitian, Social
Prescriber and Paramedics.
