Job summary
Our welcoming semi-rural practice is
part of a supportive primary care network and federation providing attached
physiotherapists, clinical pharmacists and mental health practitioners. We have
a very settled and experienced staff team who are very efficient. We are
looking for an enthusiastic, caring GP who wants to learn all of the local
pathways and protocols and who will be capable of managing fully independently
when sometimes the only clinician on-call. After a probationary period, we hope
the successful doctor will want to remain in our practice longer-term since
it's a fantastic place to work.

Number of scheduled
appointments per session will normally be 13 plus equal share of queries and
extra duties

Qualifications
Essential
- Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register and either have MRCGP or be about to complete certificate of training August 2025.
- Be included on the NHS England medical performers list
- Professional standing - Not be prohibited from providing services due to regulation breaches (e.g., NHS Performers Lists Regulations). Not be suspended from practice by the NHS or from the GMCs list of medical practitioners. Not be subject to any interim suspension orders from the GMC under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
- Have a legal right to work in the UK
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check - This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975
- Excellent standard of English language

- Knowledge of EMIS web and Primary Care systems
- Experience of Information Governance
- Care planning and managing EOL patients
- Chronic disease
- Able to take the lead within the team
