We are recruiting a newly qualified GP - the criteria is in line with the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme and is a fixed term, temporary contract from January 2025 until 31st March 2025.
To be eligible for this role, you must be within two years of certificate of completion of training at the start date of employment and have not previously held a substantive post as a General Practitioner.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking, enthusiastic GP.
The successful candidate will deliver sessions for Jubilee Medical Group working from Longfield and New Ash Green surgerys.
The population within Jubilee medical group is 15,000 patient, Exact work pattern to be further discussed. CPD entitlement will be factored in the work plan.
The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients. They will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
As a salaried GP, your will play a crucial role in the provision of primary healthcare services.
Undertake surgery consultations including face-to-face, digital, online, telephone
Delivery of Enhance service appointments and Same day acess.
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas)
Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the revalidation process
