Salaried GP - Hybrid Remote and In Clinic

Job summary

Would you rather work at a BOUTIQUE INDEPENDENT NHS PRACTICE or a big CORPORATE one?

We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable, and friendly GP to join our small, well-established practice as a Salaried GP for 4-6 sessions, we are looking for this to be a hybrid role with the GP working remotely from home for some sessions and other sessions in clinic.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would be working 4-6 sessions a week, we are flexible on full or half days.

Routine appointments include face to face and telephone appointments, up to 15 patients per session. The GP would be managing incoming correspondence via docman and also managing their own results.

We would want you to be involved as part of weekly clinical meetings and a monthly afternoon of Practice Learning Time.

We are a 6000 patient practice, based on one site. We are a highly valued and patient focused practice.

We are set in a rapidly developing area of South East London. The practice is in Zone - a 3 minute walk from Surrey Quays Overground Station, 11 minute walk from Canada Water Jubilee Line station and with nearby shopping centre. Southwark Park on the doorstep of the practice!

Our practice is dynamic and evolving - it was single handed for several years before becoming a three partner practice in 2020. The three partners are two GPs and 1 ANP. We are friendly, approachable and supportive.

We have two part-time salaried GPs, a Practice Nurse and a Health Care Assistant. We have an excellent Administrative team - who scan, code and assist with secretarial queries. We also have dedicated receptionists.

We have access to Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists and Pharmacists as part of our PCN.

We use Emisweb, Docman 10, T-Quest, Accurx and DXS referral forms.

We are always keen to explore and improve in order to offer the best possible care, recently we organised successful mindfulness breathing workshops for patients and staff. We are also part of the the RCGP National Virology Survey.

We are due to become a training practice in December and will welcome our first GP ST3, we are currently also training a local Pharmacist to be a prescriber who is assisting with clinical work in the practice.
